KOPILA Nepal is an outstanding organization working with marginalized women and children in the rural areas of Nepal. KOPILA is growing, like a flower, a strong Nepali social environment that values the contribution of all its members regardless of age, gender and class.  In this day and age it is becoming more and more important to foster such an environment, to create a community where simply the very act of being alive is shared and valued. KOPILA Nepal has in a sense reaffirmed my faith in humanity and shown me how much can be done with so very little if there is will and passion. I have only been here 10 days but what I am taking away with me is timeless and invaluable. Thank you for such an opportunity.

Thank you to Kopila Nepal for providing me with such a wonderful opportunity to volunteer with you over the past month. It has been such an eye-opening experience, and one I will not forget. In the office I have really enjoyed getting to know the ‘Kopila family’, and learning about all the incredible projects and training programs they are involved in. each and every activity Kopila-Nepal runs had a powerful impact on the community in stimulating change towards a more equal and just Nepal. I feel so humbled to have played a small part in Kopila’s work over the last month.
